Tuition adjustments
This policy explains eligibility, windows, partial refunds, exclusions, steps, timelines, methods, contacts, cancellations, and exceptions. It is written for transparency—not to bury obligations in fine print.
1. Eligibility
Only enrolled students who signed an agreement referencing this page may request tuition adjustments. Corporate sponsors must route requests through their billing contact listed on the agreement.
2. Fourteen-day review window
If you withdraw before the start date published for your cohort and at least fourteen days before the first live session, you may request a full refund of amounts already paid, minus non-refundable third-party fees we cannot reclaim (e.g., certain proctored exam registrations if explicitly listed in your annex).
3. Partial adjustments after start
Once live instruction begins, we calculate partial credits based on completed weeks versus delivered materials. If you attended more than fifty percent of scheduled mentor hours, partial credits taper to zero except where law mandates otherwise.
4. Non-refundable items
Hardware deposits, third-party licenses billed in your name, and custom dataset preparation requested after contract signing are generally non-refundable once procurement begins. We mark these line items explicitly before you approve spend.
5. Process steps
Email the enrollment desk with your agreement ID, cohort name, and reason. We acknowledge within two business days, confirm calculations, and route finance approval. Disputes receive a written decision with citations to this policy.
6. Processing time and method
Approved refunds are initiated within ten business days via the original payment rail where possible; wire refunds may take additional banking days. Currency conversions use the rate posted by our bank on the initiation date.
7. Cancellations by Provider
If we cancel a cohort for low enrollment or force majeure, you may transfer to another date or receive a full refund of tuition—not ancillary purchases you made independently.
8. Exceptions and escalations
Medical or safety emergencies are reviewed case-by-case with lightweight documentation. Escalations reach the studio director at Piso PB, Local 11, Urbanización El Centro, Barquisimeto, Lara, Venezuela.
9. Consumer rights (Venezuela)
Nothing here limits non-waivable rights under Venezuelan consumer protection law. Where translations differ, the Spanish version prevails for local consumers if we publish both; currently this English page is informational—ask for a Spanish counterpart if you require it for legal filings.
